Marcy, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team returned to the road on Thursday evening to drop a hard fought 3-0 decision to the host Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action by set scores of 25-16, 26-24 and 25-17. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers drop to 1-6 overall including a 0-2 mark in league action while the Wildcats move to 3-6 overall including a 1-0 conference mark.

Mackenzie Holbert, Sauquoit, N.Y., New Hartford High School, Herkimer Community College, turned in a solid effort for the Cobleskill in the loss with 10 assists, three kills and three digs on the evening while freshman outside hitter
Clare Nelson, Pattersonville, N.Y., Mekeel Christian Academy, chipped in 10 digs and a kill on the night.
The Orange & Black will return to action on Tuesday September 18
th when they travel to Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. to face the Raptors of Bard College in non-league action with first serve slated for 7:00 p.m.
