Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team returned home on Thursday evening to lose a 3-1 decision the Utica College Pioneers by set scores of: 25-13, 21-25, 10-25 and 20-25 in non-conference action at the Iorio Gymnasium. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers move to 1-8 overall on the year while Utica is now 2-9 overall on the campaign.

Megan Brewer, Riverhead, N.Y., Riverhead High School, led the Orange & Black with 11 kills and four digs on the evening while junior opposite side hitter/setter
Regan Hubner, Miller Place, N.Y., Rocky Point High School, had nine kills, 13 assists and two digs on the evening.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Saturday September 22 when they host a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) crossover weekend featuring: the Bison of Gallaudet University, the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College and the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic.
Cobleskill will be in action on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. when they meet the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College at 11:30 a.m. at the Iorio Gymnasium in league action and at 2:00 p.m. when they host the Bison of Gallaudet University. In the days other contests: SUNY Polytechnic will host Gallaudet University at 11:30 a.m. in the Bouck Hall Ballroom then at 2:00 p.m. SUNY Polytechnic will meet Lancaster Bible College at 2:00 p.m. also at the Bouck Hall Ballroom.
