Albany, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team made the journey to Sage College's Kahl Gymnasium on Wednesday evening falling to the host Gators in a hotly contested contest 3-0 by set scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 26-24 in non-league action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-11 on the year while the Gators are now 4-11 overall.
Freshman outside hitter Jillian Nitchman, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ballston Spa High School, turned in a solid effort for the Orange & Black on the evening with seven kills, two assists and an assisted block while junior setter
Regan Hubner, Miller Place, N.Y., Rocky Point High School, added 11 assists, six digs, three kills and a service ace on the evening.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday September 29
th when they travel to Aurora, N.Y. to meet The Express of Wells College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action beginning at 12:00 p.m.
