Fighting Tiger Women's Soccer Loses to NEAC Leading Penn State Berks Nittany Lions 13-0

Cobleskill Women's Soccer Suffers 13-0 Loss at Penn State Berks in League Action


Reading, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team closed out their weekend North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Pennsylvania road trip on Sunday on a sour note losing to the host Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks by a 13-0 margin. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are now 4-6 overall on the year with a 1-4 record in NEAC play while the Nittany Lions are now 6-3-1 overall including a perfect 6-0 conference mark.

The league leading Nittany Lions scored five first half goals to put the contest out of reach early as the Fighting Tigers could once again not manage a shot or corner kick on the afternoon against the NEAC leaders.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Tuesday October 2nd when they travel to North Adams, Mass. to face the Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) for a non-league contest with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
