Bennington, Vt.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team once again took to the road on Thursday evening traveling to the Southern Vermont College (SVC) to drop a 3-1 decision to the Mountaineers by set scores of : 25-20, 15-25 8-25 and 25-27 in non-league action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-4 overall while SVC improves to 4-0 on the season.

Senior setter Mackenzie Holbert, Sauquoit, N.Y., New Hartford High School, had a big evening for the Orange & Black with 20 assists, 12 digs and four kills while sophomore outside hitter Katerina Weingarten, Carlise, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, added 10 digs, five kills and a service ace on the evening.                                              
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday September 12^th when they host the Wolves of Keuka College in their home and North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener beginning at 7:00 p.m.
