Buffalo, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team dominated the action in a 9-0 road win over Villa Maria College on Saturday afternoon in non-conference play to extend their winning streak to three games. With the win the Fighting Tigers improve 3-0 on the year while the Vikings fall to 0-2.

Sophomore forward Addy Lawson, Milford, N.Y., Milford High School, led the Cobleskill assault with four goals and an assist on the afternoon while junior midfielder Nellie Ramsden, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, added two goals and an assist to the team's victory totals. Senior forward Jordan Spina, Worcester, N.Y., Worcester Central School, was also a multiple goal scorer in the victory with a pair of goals.

The Orange & Black received further offensive contributions from senior midfielder Leigha LaTourette, Downsville, N.Y., Downsville High School, who scored a goal with freshman defender Rebecca Bruno, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School, adding a pair of assists and sophomore midfielder Caroline Wetsel, Schoharie, N.Y., Schoharie High School, adding an assist.    

The Cobleskill defense was stellar throughout the afternoon allowing the Vikings only two shots and a pair of corner kicks in the contest as freshman goalie Korah Witherell, Portville, N.Y., Portville High School, recorded a shutout victory as her first intercollegiate win.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Medaille College for a non-conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m.
