Morrisville, N.Y..: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team closed their 2019 season on Wednesday evening by losing a 3-0 decision to the host Mustangs of Morrisville State in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action by set scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 25-8. With the loss the Fighting Tigers close the campaign with a 12-14 overall record including a 2-9 mark in NEAC play while the Mustangs are now 19-6 overall on the year including a 11-0 record in league action.
Junior setter Maleigha Ellithortpe, Cazenovia, N.Y., Cazenovia High School/Onondaga Community College, led the Fighting Tigers with 20 assists to go with eight digs and a kill on the evening while senior outside hitter
Regan Hubner, Miller Place, N.Y., Rocky Point High School, closed her career with a six kill/five dig effort.
The contest was SUNY Cobleskill's final match in the North Eastern Athletic Conference as the Fighting Tigers will be moving to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) beginning for the 2020-21 academic year.
