Cobleskill, N.Y.: In a game that could have major impact on the 2019 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Tournament North Division Play-off participants; the SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team suffered a 69-67 loss on Saturday to the visiting Wildcats of Cazenovia College at the Iorio Gymnasium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers conclude the regular season with a 15-10 overall record including a 10-6 record in NEAC action while the Wildcats improve to 13-12 overall with a 9-7 league record.
With Cobleskill trailing 67-64 and only 18 seconds left in regulation, sophomore swingman
Antwan Claxton, Bronx, N.Y., Taft High School, jackknifed through a pair of Wildcat players to grab an offensive rebound which he stuck back while drawing a foul. Claxton subsequently converted the free throw to tie the contest.
The Wildcats responded with three seconds left to play when Wildcat senior guard Nicholas Filippi, Syracuse, N.Y., Solvay High School, took advantage of a defense breakdown, attacking the rim and drawing a foul in a one-and-one situation. Filippi hit both free throws to give the visitors a 69-67 advantage.

Antwan Claxton posted a double/double to lead Cobleskill with 18 points and 14 rebounds while junior guard
Daniel Owens, Albany, N.Y., Christian Brothers High School/Herkimer Community College, added 14 points, six rebounds and pair of assists on the afternoon.
Dashown Nelson battled through foul trouble to chip in nine points, four rebounds and two assists while sophomore guard
Devin Boyle, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, came off the bench to score nine points, grab five rebounds and pass out three assists.
The Fighting Tigers will await the NEAC Championship Tournament Committee to determine the participants and venues for this year's tournament.
