Marcy, N.Y.: One day after completing a marathon 14 inning four hour battle, won by the Fighting Tigers, 12-10, the SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY Polytechnic Institute baseball teams took the field for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) doubleheader on Monday afternoon with the host Wildcats sweeping both ends of the conference twinbill in walk-off fashion by scores of 6-5 and 7-6. With the losses the Fighting Tigers are now 14-18 overall record on the year including an 8-7 mark in conference play while the Wildcats improve to 10-22 overall including a 7-7 conference record.
In the opener the Fighting Tigers once again fell behind the Wildcats early trailing 5-2 after the first inning before tying the game at 5-5 in the top of the sixth inning when freshman right fielder
River Sisson, Cobleskill, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, walked then stole second base and advance to third on a throwing error on the play. Sisson then scored on a sacrifice fly by junior left fielder
Jayson Maxwell, Newport, N.Y., Notre Dame High School.
However in the bottom of the frame; Wildcat senior pinch hitter Dalton Earl, Woodhull, N.Y., Jasper-Troupsburg High School, led off the inning by belting a triple to left center field and when the Fighting Tigers miss handled a relay throw, scored on the error for a walk-off victory.

Tim Curtis, Slate Hill, N.Y., Minisink Valley High School, took the loss allowing five earned runs on eight hits striking out two and walking one on the day.
At the plate freshman second baseman
Joseph Ciatto, Putnam, N.Y., Carmel High School, was 2-for-4 with a run scored and a pair of stolen bases while sophomore shortstop Eddie Garcia, Bonx, N.Y., World View High School, was 1-for-3 with a RBI and two stolen bases on the day.
In the nightcap of a rollercoaster contest, the Fighting Tigers found themselves 6-5 going into the top of the ninth inning when right fielderÂ
River Sisson walked and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by sophomore center fielder
Mitchell Holmes, Dartmouth, Mass., Bristol County Agricultural High School. Sisson then scored to tie the game at 6-6 on a single by second baseman
Joseph Ciatto.
However in the bottom of the inning, the host Wildcats scored the winning run when junior center fielder Bradley Dietz, Phoenix, N.Y., John C. Birdlebough High School, singled home senior second baseman Sabastian Pannuto, New Paltz, N.Y., New Paltz High School, who had walked to open the ninth, stole second and advanced to third on a passed ball. Offensively for the Fighting Tigers
Joseph Ciatto went 2-for-5 with a double, a pair of RBI and a stolen base while freshman catcher D.J. McMahon, Poestenkill, N.Y., LaSalle Institute, was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a RBI.
