Bronx, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team closed their season opening road trip to New York City on Sunday dropping a hard fought 2-1 overtime decision to the host Lighting of Lehman College. With the loss the Fighting Tigers move to 1-1 overall on the year while the Lighting open the season with a 2-0 mark.
Lighting midfielder Eduardo Victorio, Yonkers, N.Y., Roosevelt High School, decided the issue  less than a minute into the sudden death overtime period with the game winning goal to give Lehman the victory in the non-conference contest.
The Fighting Tigers trailed 1-0 in the 75
th minute of play when  sophomore forward
Sadou Diallo, Harlem, N.Y., Martin Luther King High School, blasted a game tying missile from 20-yards out into the back of the Lighting's net that would eventually force the extra frame.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday September 7
th when they travel to Utica, N.Y. for the 2019 Utica College Invitational hosted by Pioneers at the college's Charles M. Gaetano Stadium. The Orange & Black will face SUNY New Paltz in the tournament opener at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday then close their portion of the action on Sunday September 8
th when they meet the host Pioneers with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 p.m. Â Â Â
