Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team lost a 3-1 decision to the visiting Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute on Wednesday evening at the Iorio Gymnasium by set scores of: 16-25, 10-25, 25-19 and 12-25. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers now move to 4-3 overall on the season including a 0-1 make in NEAC action while the Wildcats are now 3-6 overall including a 1-0 record in league action.

Sophomore middle hitter Rachel Burke, West Winfield, N.Y., Mount Markham High School, turned in a solid effort for the Orange & Black with a team high of seven kills to go with five digs and a solo block on the evening.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Thursday September 18^th when they travel to Longmeadow, Mass. for a non-conference game versus the Wildcats of Bay Path University beginning at 7:00 p.m.
