Keuka Park, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at a triangular event hosted by Keuka College on Saturday afternoon. The Fighting Tigers opened the day losing to the host Wolves of Keuka College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play 3-0 by set scores of: 25-13, 25-21 and 25-17 then closed out the event by losing a non-league affair Houghton College Highlanders 3-1 by set scores of: 25-13, 25-19, 22-25 and 25-14. With the decisions the Fighting Tigers drop to 5-5 overall on the season with a 0-2 mark in league action.

Fighting Tiger junior setter Maleigha Ellithorpe, Cazenovia, N.Y., Cazenovia High School/Onondaga Community College, turned in a pair of stellar efforts on the day with three kills, 13 assists and nine digs versus Keuka in the opener then coming back with 16 assists, five digs and two service aces versus Houghton in the finale.

Cobleskill will return to the court on Tuesday September 24^th when they host the Gators of Sage College in non-conference play at the Iorio Gymnasium with first serve scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
