Women's Soccer Falls to Mount Holyoke College 7-0 in Home Opener

Fighting Tigers Suffer 7-0 Setback to Mount Holyoke Lyons on Saturday


Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team opened the home portion of the 2019 season by dropping a 7-0 decision to the visiting Lyons of Mount Holyoke College on Saturday afternoon at the Soccer/Lax Complex in non-conference action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-2 overall on the season while the Lyons move to 1-1-1 overall on the campaign.

The visitors broke open a 2-0 contest in the second half going on a five-goal run to secure the victory.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday September 11th when they travel to Union, N.J. to meet Keene University with kick-off at 7:00 p.m.
