On October 30
th, our women's volleyball celebrated a successful and challenging fall season with an inter-squad scrimmage. The scrimmage was deemed the "Orange vs. Black" game and ignited a spark of excitement and competition throughout the team.
Coach
Scott Hill was thrilled with the overall skill, talent, and competitive spirit that his team showed. "I think the scrimmage went well. From a coaching standpoint, breaking up the team into two separate teams can and will bring the unknown. I decided to have some fun and separated the teams by state, New York versus the U.S.. The U.S. team consisted mostly of the freshman class. The match ended up being very competitive with the U.S beating New York two sets to one set.".
Now that their nontraditional season has come to a conclusion, it's safe to say that Coach Hill is excited for his team's future, especially for his talented freshman class. "The whole freshman class will make an immediate impact and will complement our returning players and improve our success this year and in the future.".
