Oneonta, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team returned to action on Wednesday afternoon dropping a 9-0 decision the host Red Dragons of Oneonta State at Red Dragon Baseball Field. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are now 6-3 overall on the year to date while the Red Dragons improve to 1-2 overall.

Junior pitcher Jayson Williams, Baldwinsville, N.Y., C.W. Baker High School/Finger Lakes Community College, took the loss.  He worked three innings and allowed only one earned run. Williams also notched the Fighting Tigers only hit on the afternoon, a third inning single.

Cobleskill will return to action over the weekend when they travel to Hackettstown, N.J. for a pair of doubleheaders versus the host Purple Tornado of Centenary University on Saturday, March 6^th and Sunday, March 7^th scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day at the Diamond of Dreams Complex.
