With the cancellation of spring sports due to COVID-19, the Fighting Tiger Athletic Department will be the reviewing the 2019-20 seasons of all SUNY Cobleskill athletic teams that competed during the academic year.

Fighting Tiger Hunt Seat Equestrian Team 2019-20 Season Recap
The Fighting Tiger Hunt Seat Equestrian Team entered the 2019-20 season with a number of promising newcomers to compete in the perennially difficult ranks of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association's (IHSA) Section 2 Region 3 ranks.
The Fighting Tigers opened the campaign posting a team total of 28 points to record a seventh place finish in a 10 team field at the region's opening event hosted by Hartwick College at the Hunters Reign Complex in Otego, N.Y.
Up next Cobleskill traveled to the Van Lennep Riding Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. the home of the defending regional champion Skidmore College. The Fighting Tigers posted a team total of 26 points to claim a fifth place finish at the event in the field of 10 teams.
The Orange & Black then traveled to Morrisville, N.Y. for two days of competitions at the Morrisville State Equestrian Facility. At the conclusion of the two day affair Cobleskill had posted a day one fifth place in a 10 team field then closed out the second day by finishing eighth overall among nine teams competing.
Cobleskill then returned to Saratoga Springs, N.Y. to close out the first semester by scoring 22 points to tie for seventh place in a 10 team field at an IHSA event hosted by Skidmore College.
The Fighting Tigers then opened 2020 in impressive fashion posting a team total of 32 points to place second overall in a nine team field and claim Reserve High Point Honors at an event hosted by Hartwick College.
The next week Cobleskill continued their impressive 2020 by once again claiming Reserve High Point Honors at a Morrisville State Show by scoring 42 points to claim second place overall in a 10 team field.
Junior
Brendan D'Costa Jr., Hicksville, N.Y., Jericho High School, would lead the team's second semester improvement by qualifying for the Zone 2 Region 3 Regional Championships in Intermediate Flat Competition by winning the events in both shows. For his qualifying effort the Hicksville, N.Y. native was named the team's Most Valuable Rider for the 2019-20 campaign.
However the team's season high point would also be the end point of the year as the season would come to an abrupt end due to the pandemic.
