Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that junior Amelia Von Korff, Richmondville, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber High School, a member of the Hunt Seat Equestrian team has been named of the program's Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending October 31.
The talented junior brought home Individual High Point Rider honors from the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 season opening show hosted by Hartwick College at the Hunter's Rein in Otego, N.Y. to lead the Fighting Tigers to a team score of 23 points and a fifth place finish in the field of eight teams.
will next be in action on Saturday November 6 and Sunday November 7 they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. for a pair of IHSA competitions hosted by Morrisville State College beginning at 10:00 a.m.
