New York, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team traveled to the Big Apple on Friday evening to out battle the host Bearcats of Baruch College 65-62 in non-league action. With the win the Fighting Tigers are now 2-4 overall on the year while the Bearcats overall record now stands at 1-4 on the season.
The Fighting Tigers held a 10-point lead at 56-46 with 4:52 remaining in regulation before the Bearcats made a furious charge tying the contest at 60-60 with 50 seconds remaining in regulation. However, down the stretch Cobleskill the Fighting Tiger inside muscle showed as junior center

Anna Post, Bovina Center, N.Y., Delaware Academy, converting on a pair of free throws to make the score to give the visitors a 64-61 with 12 seconds left which they extended to 65-62 when freshman forward
Hannah Cater, Schoharie, N.Y., Schoharie High School, split a pair of free throws with three seconds left to play.
The Orange & Black used a balanced scoring attack with nine different players tallying points to secure the victory led by
Anna Post who scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds while
Jordan Finch added 13 points and three rebounds on the evening.
Hannah Cater also played a major role in the victory posting a double/double with 11 points and 10 rebounds to go with three blocked shots.
Cobleskill will return to action with a pre-Thanksgiving home contest versus the Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) on Tuesday November 23 at the Iorio Gymnasium with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
