Saratoga Springs, N.Y.: Hit by class conflicts and the injury bug, the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team took to the road on Wednesday night to drop a 6-0 decision to the host Thoroughbreds of Skidmore College in non-conference play. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 2-7 overall on the year while Skidmore improves to 6-3 on the season to date.
The Thoroughbreds held the Fighting Tigers in check allowing only one shot during the contest as opposed to taking 38 of their own against the Cobleskill defense while holding an 10-0 advantage in corner kicks on the night.
The Orange & Black will next be in action on Saturday October 2 when they travel to Marcy, N.Y. for a game versus North Atlantic Conference (NAC) rival SUNY Polytechnic Institute on the Wildcats home turf with kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
