Chicopee, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team found the road a rocky one over the weekend at the Fighting Tigers dropped three contests at the 2021 Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College over the weekend. With the losses the Fighting Tigers fall to 0-4 overall on the season to date.

The Orange & Black opened the event falling to the Engineers of Worcester Polytechnic Institute 3-0 by set scores 25-18, 25-22 and 25-22 in a hotly contested match.

The Fighting Tigers then dropped a 3-0 decision to the host Blazers of Elms College by scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-19.

Cobleskill then closed the tournament by dropping a 3-2 battle to the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College by scores of 25-14, 19-25, 25-22, 18-25 and 11-15.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Wednesday September 8 when the travel to Castleton, Vt. to meet the Spartans of Castleton University with first serve at 7:00 p.m.
