FIGHTING TIGER VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT CASTLETON UNIVERSITY 3-1

Castleton, Vt.: The road once again proved to be a rocky one for the SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 3-1 decision to the host Spartans of Castleton University in non-conference action by set scores of 23-25, 20-25, 25-17 and 20-25. With the loss Cobleskill falls to 0-5 on the season to date while Castleton moves to 1-2 overall on the year.

Senior setter Maleigha Ellithorpe, Cazenovia, N.Y., Cazenovia High School/Onondaga Community College was the team's to performer with a season high of 33 assists to go with 14 digs while freshman MacKenzie Larson, Winterset, N.Y., Winterset, Iowa, had 15 kills and 14 digs on the evening.

Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday September 11 when they travel to South Hadley, Mass for a tri-match with Framingham State University beginning at 1:00 p.m. followed by a 3:00 p.m. meeting with host Mount Holyoke College.
