Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team stepped out of conference action on Monday evening losing to the visiting Cougars of Misericordia University in non-league play 66-49. With the loss the Fighting Tigers drop to 7-8 overall while the Cougars are now 10-7 overall on the year.
The Fighting Tigers were hampered by 31 turnovers on the evening while shooting the visitors 19 offensive rebounds on the evening which led to 20 second chance points.

Jordan Finch, East Meredith, N.Y., South Kortright High School, scored 12 points to go with four rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot on the evening with sophomore forward
Hannah Cater, Schoharie, N.Y., Schoharie High School, came off the bench to score 12 points, along with three rebounds and three blocked shots. Â Â
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Thursday January 27 when they host the Owls of Westfield State College at the Iorio Gymnasium beginning at 6:00 p.m.
