Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team posted a total score of 17 points capture the team title at their own 2022 Steven A. Warde Invitational hosted by the Fighting Tigers at the college's cross country course on Saturday.

Cobleskill was once again paced by sophomore Eamonn Sullivan, Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Fordham Preparatory School, who defeated an 84-runner field to take the individual title at the event by covering the 8000-meter course in a time of 26:41.73 followed by junior Nick Logan, Queensbury, N.Y., Queensbury High School, who placed second overall in a time of 26:57.46.

The team also received scoring efforts from: first-year runners Jack Gemmett, Schenectady, N.Y., Schalmont High School, in third place in 27:52.74 and Will Seamans, Fayetteville, N.Y., Fayetteville-Manlius High School, in fifth place in 28:44.79. Sophomore Shane Viscosi, Fultonville, N.Y., Fonda-Fultonville High School, closed the team's scoring with a sixth place finish in a time of 29:00.33.

The Orange & Black will return to action on Saturday September 17 when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. for the Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley State Park beginning at 11:00 A.M.
