Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that for the second consecutive week, SUNY Cobleskill first-year runner Jack Gemmett, Schenectady, N.Y., Schalmont High School, has been named the NAC Men's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for the week ending Sunday September 11, 2022.

The Fighting Tiger first-year harrier placed third overall in a field of 85 runners at Cobleskill own Steven A. Warde Invitational on Saturday by covering the 8000-meter course in a time of 27:52.74. Led by their talented first-year, the Fighting Tigers won the team title by posting a score of 17 points to defeat the field of 11 teams at the event.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday September 17 when they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to compete in the 2022 Yellow Jacket Invitational hosted by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park beginning at 11:00 a.m.
