Marcy, N.Y.: The road was a rocky one for the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team on Saturday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 6-1 decision in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) on Saturday afternoon to the host Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 4-7-1 overall including a 2-4 record in league action while the Wildcats move to 9-4 overall record with a perfect 6-0 mark in NAC play.
 
The Fighting Tigers tailed 2-0 at the half before the home team used three goals from the 55^th to 66^th minutes to cement the victory.
 
Cobleskill did break into the scoring column in the 89^th minute of play when first-year forward Connor Fancher, Worcester, N.Y., Worcester High School, scored his first goal of the season.
 
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Sunday October 15 when they host Elms College for a non-league contest with kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
