Delhi, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team posted a strong performance at the 26th annual Bronco Classic hosted by SUNY Delhi on Wednesday evening, finishing second out of four teams.
Junior
Nik Recore (Peru, NY) once again led the charge for the Fighting Tigers, finishing second overall with a time of 16:50.30, just ten seconds behind the leader.
Daniel Jaffin (Woodbury, Conn./Nonnewaug) placed fifth, clocking in at 18:06.00, while second-year
Estaban Delgado (New Rochelle, NY) secured a ninth-place finish with a time of 19:31.40.
Newcomer
David Kogan (Brooklyn, NY/Edward R. Murrow) finished in 11th place with a time of 21:25.30. Fellow new additions
Charles Cooper (Connetquot, NY) and
Kahreem Rucker (Schenectady, NY/Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons) placed 20th and 22nd, with times of 25:26.10 and 28:14.90, respectively.
The Fighting Tigers return to action on October 19th when they travel to Western New England University for the 2024 Golden Bear Invitational.
