Cobleskill jumped out to 2-1 lead thanks to unassisted goals by Baker and Sippio.  Husson rallied and took a 5-3 lead at the end of the first quarter after a Nathan Vibber goal.  In the second quarter, the Fighting Tigers found themselves trailing 7-5 after Baker scored his second goal of the game, assisted by D'Amaro, which cut the lead to two with 3:07 left in the quarter. With only 16 seconds left, Husson extended their lead to 8-5 after Kolton Gillilan capitalized on a Cobleskill turnover and found the back of the net to end the quarter.

The third quarter saw a back and fouth game as each team scored two goals.  For the Fighting Tigers, D'Amaro powered his shot past the eagles goalie only a minute into the quarter.  Husson responded by scoring the next two goals in the game, before Staubitz answered for Cobleskill by scoring a man-up goal.  Husson led 10-7 at the end of the quarter.

The eagles offensive provided to be too much in the fourth quarter as they extended their lead to 13-8 with 11:07 left to play.  The visitors added two more goals by Gillilan and Vibber to finish the game with a 15-8 win.
