Fighting Tigers Place Third at the Fred Pavlich Invitational

Nik Recore Led the Fighting Tigers with a Sixth Place Finish

Annandale-on-Hudson,NY: The SUNY Cobleskill men's cross country team placed third out of 11 teams at the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College on Saturday morning.
 
Leading the Fighting Tigers was Nik Recore (Peru, NY), who finished sixth overall out of 88 runners with a time of 28:49.2. Daniel Jaffin (Woodbury, Conn./Nonnewaug) followed with a 17th-place finish in 31:36.4, while Vladamire Sheehan (Windsor, NY/Windsor Central) clocked in at 33:33.4 for 32nd place.
 
Antonio Gonzalez (Niskayuna, NY) secured 46th place with a time of 36:00.7, and David Kogan (Brooklyn, NY/Edward R. Murrow) crossed the line in 50th at 36:29.1. Will Molesky (Latham, NY/Colonie) rounded out the Cobleskill runners with a 61st-place finish in 38:35.7, contributing to the team's strong overall performance.
 
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on October 12th, as they travel to Westfield State University for the James Earley Invitational.
