Waterville, ME – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has named SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech freshman guard MJ Ford (Staten Island, NY) the NAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for the week ending January 25, 2026.

Ford delivered a historic performance to lead the SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team to a 97-88 double-overtime comeback win at rival Delhi. He poured in a freshman program-record 38 points while adding six rebounds, three assists, and two steals, shooting an efficient 12-of-20 from the field, 3-of-8 from three-point range, and 11-of-13 at the free-throw line.

Ford rose to the occasion in the game's biggest moments, drilling a game-tying three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining in overtime to force a second overtime before scoring eight points in the second extra period to seal the victory.
