Oneonta, N.Y. – The Cobleskill men's cross-country team opened its 2026 season on Friday evening at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational held at Fortin Park. The Tigers placed 5
th out of the 6 teams competing.
Freshman
Aiden Pettit (Corinth, NY) started his fighting tiger career off strong finishing 31
st out of the 72 runners with a time of 21:37.6. He was followed up by
Michael Jocz (Syracuse, NY) in 46
th place with a time of 23:02.2.
Finishing up the Tigers top five runners was Freshman
Reid Starks-Swotkewicz (Schoharie, NY),
Hunter Johnson (Union Dale, PA) finishing 52
nd and 53
rd with times of 23:39.9 and 23:50.6. Senior
David Kogan (Brooklyn, NY) posted a 59
th place finish with a time of 24:57.5 to round out the Tigers' top five.

The tigers will return to action next Saturday September 12, where they travel to Clinton, NY for the Hamilton Short Course Invitational at 11am.
