Paul Fowler joined the Fighting Tigers as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach in 2026.

In his role with the Fighting Tigers, Fowler assists with the implementation of training sessions, working primarily with the team's attacking players. He also supports match analysis and leadership development within the program.

Fowler joins Cobleskill after spending 10 seasons as an assistant men's soccer coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). During his tenure with the Engineers, he helped guide the program to three NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, including a trip to the NCAA Elite Eight.

A standout collegiate player at Hope College, Fowler was a three-time First Team All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) selection and was named the conference's Most Valuable Player. He recorded 88 career points in three seasons and ranks third in program history in points per game.

In addition to his coaching experience, Fowler enjoyed a distinguished 32-year career with the New York State Police, serving in several leadership positions including Captain and Assistant Director of Training, Lieutenant and Officer in Charge of the Basic School, and Zone Commander.

Fowler earned his Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hope College.
