The talented freshman became the first Fighting Tiger to qualify to swim at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Swimming & Diving Championships; this year hosted by the United States Naval Academy at the Midshipmen’s Lejeune Hall from, Friday March 1st thru Sunday March 3rd.

Boekeloo placed 17th overall in the 500-yard freestyle establishing a new program record time of 4:40.32 in the event. He also placed 30th in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 1:44.63 at the championship meet.
