The talented rookie goalie led the Fighting Tigers to a split in a pair of road contests during the week as Cobleskill defeated the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton College-Albany 3-1 on Wednesday in non-league play prior to losing to the host Lions of Eastern Nazarene College 2-1 in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener on Saturday to move to 1-4 overall with a 0-1 record in NAC action.

Champlin played all 180 minutes in net during the week while recording pair of 10 save efforts and earning his first collegiate victory in the team’s road win over Bryant & Stratton-Albany.
