Cobleskill, NY: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department has selected second-year women's cross country runner Lilianna Peters (Hinsdale, NY/Allegany-Limestone) as the Fighting Tiger Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 20, 2024.

Peters set the pace for the Fighting Tigers, finishing fourth overall out of 150 competitors with a time of 23:14 and a 6:14-per-mile pace on a challenging 6k course. Her strong performance helped Cobleskill secure a fourth-place finish in a field of 12 teams at the Golden Bear Invitational, hosted by Western New England University on Saturday.

The Fighting Tigers are set to compete again on November 2 at the North Atlantic Conference Championship, hosted by SUNY Delhi.
