The Fighting Tiger shortstop went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and two runs scored in the team’s 18-5 road loss to the Nittany Lions of  Penn State Berks in the First Round of the 2019 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men’ s Baseball Championships Tournament.

For the season the Bronx, N.Y. native: batted .298 in 38 games for the Fighting Tigers going 42-for-141 at the plate while posting an On Base Percentage (OBP) of .406 on the strength of 12 walks and being hit by a pitch a team high 15 times. Garcia also pounded out 10 doubles and a home run on the year while leading the team in runs scored with 35, runs batted in with 26 and stolen bases converting on 15-of-18 attempts.
