Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team ended a seven-game losing streak on Saturday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers posted a 5-0 shutout victory over visiting Gallaudet University in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action at Cobleskill's Soccer/Lax Complex. The win improves the Fighting Tigers to 2-10 overall on the season including a 2-5 record in conference play while the Bison now fall to 2-12 overall with a 1-8 record against league opponents.

Cobleskill freshman forward Morganne Dick, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, scored the eventual game winner in the 40^th minute of play off a cross from freshman defender Tori Oswald, Hawthorne, N.Y., Westlake High School, as part of a strong effort which saw the rookie front-liner score twice and contribute an assist in the win. Fellow freshman Robyn Iversen, Deer Park, N.Y., Deer Park High School, was also active offensively for the home team with two goals and an assist on the afternoon while freshman midfielder Cassandra Harris, Latham, N.Y., Shaker High School, added a goal to the team's victory total.

Between the pipes freshman goalie Sabrina Adams, Oswego, N.Y., Mexico High School, recorded four saves on the afternoon to record her second shutout victory of the campaign.

The Orange & Black will have little time to enjoy the victory as the Fighting Tigers return to action on Sunday October 12 hosting the Phoenix of Wilson College in conference play beginning at 12:00 p.m.
