Box Score Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team used a strong defensive effort to turn back the visiting Phoenix of Wilson College by a 2-0 margin in a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest on Sunday afternoon at the Soccer/Lax Complex. The victory improves the Fighting Tigers to 3-10 overall on the year including a 3-5 record in league play while Wilson falls to 3-11 overall with a 0-10 mark in conference action.

th minute of play she stopped a penalty kick off the foot of Wilson's freshman defender Erin Stephan, Gettysburg, Pa., Gettysburg Area High School, to shift the contest's momentum in favor of the home team. Adams finished with 10 saves in the contest for the Orange & Black.
Cobleskill then scored the deciding goal in the 19

Stacey Zinsman, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School, crossed a ball weakside to freshman forward
Robyn Iversen, Deer Park, N.Y., Deer Park High School, who promptly deposited it in the back of the Phoenix's net for a 1-0 lead. The Fighting Tigers later scored an insurance goal off the foot of freshman defender/forward
Tori Oswald, Hawthorne, N.Y., Westlake High School, who took a pass from Iversen and blasted it home from six-yards out to make it 2-0 in the 51
st minute of action.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action after the college's fall break when they travel to Lancaster, Pa. on Friday October 17 to face the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action beginning at 6:00 p.m.
