Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team closed out the 2014 season in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon by defeating the visiting Mustangs of Morrisville State College by a 1-0 margin in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. With the victory the Fighting Tigers conclude their season with a 4-13 overall record including a 4-8 mark in league play while the Mustangs move to 9-7 overall including a 6-6 record in league action.

The score stood tied at 0-0 in the 27th minute when freshman midfielder Cassandra Harris, Lathan, N.Y., Shaker High School, scored on a direct kick from 20 yards out to give Cobleskill a 1-0 lead.

From there the Fighting Tiger defense dug in an frustrated the Mustang offense throughout the contest as freshman goalkeeper Sabrina Adams, Oswego, N.Y., Mexico High School, made eight saves to record her fourth shutout win this season.
