Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNYIT Wildcats women's soccer team scored a pair of second half goals to break open a scoreless tie and post a 2-0 victory over the Fighting Tigers of SUNY Cobleskill in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Saturday afternoon at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. The loss drops Cobleskill to 1-7 overall on the campaign with a 1-3 mark in league action while the Wildcats improve to 3-4-1 overall with a 3-1 record versus league opponents.
The contest was scoreless in the second half when Wildcat senior defender Krista Strang, Rotterdam, N.Y., Schalmont High School, tallied in the 63
rd minute of play to give the visitors the lead. SUNYIT then added an insurance goal off the foot of freshman forward Alexis Forgit, Morris, N.Y., Morris High School, in the 67
th minute of the game.
Wildcat goalkeeper Angela Bartlett, West Winfield, N.Y., West Winfield High School, recorded her fourth shutout of the year making four saves to keep Cobleskill in check throughout the afternoon.

Sabrina Adams, Oswego, N.Y., Mexico High School, kept the Orange & Black in the match by recording nine saves on the afternoon.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Wednesday September 24 when they travel to Bennington, Vt. to face the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College at 4:00 p.m. in non-league action while SUNYIT is also in action on Wednesday afternoon traveling to North Adams, Mass. for a meeting with the Trailblazers of Massachusetts, College of Liberal Arts beginning at 4:30 p.m. Â
