Keuka Park, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team dropped all three matches at a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Intra-Divisional Play Weekend hosted by Keuka College on Saturday October 17 and Sunday October 18. With the losses the Fighting Tigers fall to 5-17 overall on the year including a 2-7 mark in NEAC play.
Cobleskill opened the weekend on Saturday by losing to the host Wolfpack of Keuka College 3-0 by scores of: 25-10, 25-16 and 25-19 flowed by a 3-1 loss to the Wildcats of Cazenovia College by scores of 24-26, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-23. On Sunday, the Orange & Black closed the event by losing to The Express of Wells College 3-0 by scores of 25-9, 25-13 and 25-16.
Freshman middle hitter
Emilie Reimer, Mattituck, N.Y., Mattituck High School, averaged 2.4 kills, 1.0 digs and 1.4 total blocks per set in 10 sets played for Cobleskill while sophomore middle hitter
Bailie Roberts averaged 1.3 kills, 1.1 digs and 0.8 total blocks per set in 10 sets played over the weekend.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action when they travel to Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. to close out their NEAC season on Friday October 23rd and Saturday October 24th when they face the Mustangs of Morrisville State College on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. Cobleskill will then take on the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a 12:00 p.m. contest versus host Bison of Gallaudet University at 12:00 p.m.
