Washington, D.C.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team's trip to the nation's capital proved as fruitful as congressional budget talks on Saturday as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 3-0 decision to the Bison of Gallaudet University in North Eastern Athletic Conference action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 0-15 overall on the year including a 0-9 mark against league opponents while the Bison now improve to 2-12-2 overall with a 1-10 record in conference play.
Once again the Fighting Tigers had difficulty mounting an offensive attack on the road as the Orange & Black could manage only two shots on goal in the contest that saw them trail at the half 1-0 then allow the Bison a pair of second half tallies which put game in the win column for the home team.
Cobleskill will return to action on Sunday afternoon, October 25
th when they travel to Chambersburg, Pa. to face the Phoenix of Wilson College in NEAC play beginning at 12:00 p.m.
