Cobleskill, N.Y.: A poor second half spelled trouble for the SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team on Tuesday evening as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 64-51 decision to visiting Bard College in non-league action at the Iorio Gymnasium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 0-7 overall on the season while the Raptors improve to 2-1 on the campaign.
Cobleskill raced out to a 34-27 advantage at the half by shooting a robust 15-for-25, 60.0% from the field while hitting all four of their free throw opportunities to hold the Raptors in check. The Orange & Black also forced the visitors into 12 opportunities in the half to cement their advantage.
However in the second half the home team's offense vanished completely as the Fighting Tigers connected on only 7-of-34, 20.6%, shots from the floor including a dismal 1-of-13, 7.7%, from beyond the three-point arch.
