Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team went cold late down the stretch in a 62-56 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) loss to visiting Wells College on Sunday afternoon at the Iorio Gymnasium. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 1-9 overall on the season with a 1-1 mark in conference play while The Express now moves to 2-4 overall including a 1-1 record versus NEAC opponents.
After a second half that featured four ties and a pair of lead changes The Express and the Fighting Tigers found themselves dead locked at 56-56 with 2:50 left in regulation. Over that span the visitors outscored the Orange & Black 6-to-0 on the strength of a Cobleskill performance that saw the home team go 0-for-4 from the floor and commit a turnover in their final five possessions.

Codi Gorman, Watervliet, N.Y., Shaker High School/Hudson Valley Community College, was the only Fighting Tiger to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points on the afternoon while sophomore swingman
Frank D'Esti, Vestal, N.Y., Vestal High School/Broome Community College, added nine points, four rebounds, and two assists on the afternoon. Junior forward
Garrett Pitcher, East Berne, N.Y., Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School/Hudson Valley Community College, was also factor in the game with eight pints, five rebounds and a pair of assists.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action after their winter break when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. on Saturday January 9
th for a NEAC meeting with the Mustangs of Morrisville State College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
