Hamburg, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team closed the 2015 season with a 21-6 road loss at Hilbert College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play on Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Fighting Tigers close the season with a 3-11 overall record including a 1-7 mark in conference play while the Hawks improve to 9-5 on the campaign with a 6-2 record in NEAC contests.
The Fighting Tigers fell behind early tailing 6-1 at the end of the first period and trailed at the half by an 11-3 margin. Once again turnovers hurt the Orange & Black as the made 26 on the afternoon which contributed to the Hawks posting a 60-to19 advantage in shots on goal.
Cobleskill freshman midfielder
Kyle Magdziuk, Syracuse, N.Y., Westhill High School, was a bright spot in defeat for the visitors scoring a career high of four goals to go with six ground balls picked up and 15 face-off wins.
Senior goalkeeper
Eric Randazzo, Tully, N.Y., Tully High School, closed his Fighting Tigers career with 14 saves and four ground balls on the afternoon. Â
