Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team opened the 2015 season with a 6-0 loss against the visiting Raptors of Bard College in non-league action Tuesday afternoon at the Fighting Tigers newly renovated Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. With the decision the Fighting Tigers open the season with a 0-1 mark while the Raptors start the year at 1-0.
The Raptors ripped the Cobleskill defense for five first half goals as sophomore forward Brendan Byrne, Lanka Harbor, N.J., Lacey High School scored the eventual game winner in the 5
th minute of play on a 25-yard blast to effectively decide the issue. Bard also received a pair of first half goals from sophomore midfielder Nick Schenberger, Hummelstown, Pa., Hershey High School, to secure the victory for the visitors.

Tanner Puff, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School, made 13 saves in defeat for the Orange & Black in the loss.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Tuesday September 8
th when they host Fighting Saints of the College of St. Joseph from Rutland, Vt. in non-conference action at the Soccer/Lax Complex beginning at 4:00 P.M.
