Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to the visiting Pioneers of Alfred State College on Sunday afternoon in non-league action at the Soccer/Lax Complex to fall to 0-4 overall on the year. Alfred State improves to 3-1-1 on the campaign with the victory.
Trailing 2-0 in the second half the Fighting Tigers cut the deficit to 2-1 when freshman midfielder
Kimberly Sullivan, Dedham, Mass., Norfolk County Agricultural High School, emerged from a cluster of bodies in front of the Pioneer goal in the 72
nd minute and found the back of the visitor's net.
However that was as close as the Orange & Black could come as Alfred turned back several other promising offensive opportunities to preserve their lead and notch the road victory. Â

th when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. for their North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opener versus the Mustangs of Morrisville State College beginning at 3:00 p.m. prior to returning home on Sunday September 20 for their NEAC home opener against the Wildcats.
