Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team suffered their sixth consecutive loss of the season on Saturday afternoon falling to visiting Arcadia University by an 8-0 margin at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex in non-conference action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 0-6 on the year while the Knights improve to 5-3-1 overall on the season.
The visitors held the Fighting Tigers to only one shot in the contest while taking 25 of their own and putting 24 of them on net. Arcadia also held a 5-0 advantage in corner kicks on the afternoon to secure the victory.
Freshman goalkeeper
Tanner Puff, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School, made a season high of 16 saves in the net for the Orange & Black in the contest.
Cobleskill will get little rest as they next travel to Williamsport, Pa. to face the Wildcats of Penn College on Sunday September 27
th in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action with kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
