Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team broke their season opening six-game losing streak on Saturday by exploding offensively to maul the host Screaming Eagles of The College of Saint Elizabeth on the road by a 10-2 margin in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC). With the win the Fighting Tigers improve to 1-6 overall including a 1-2 mark in NEAC play while the home team falls to 0-6 overall with a 0-2 record in league action.

Morganne Dick, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, who scored a career high of four goals in the victory while junior midfielder
Megan Golden, Oxford, N.Y., Oxford High School, put two goals in the back of the home team's net.
The Fighting Tigers also received a strong effort from freshman midfielder
Leigha La Tourette, Downsville, N.Y., Downsville High School, who had a goal and a pair of assists in the win and from freshman midfielder
Jillian Schofield, Schoharie, N.Y., Schoharie High School, and from freshman forward
Kimberly Sullivan, Dedham, Mass., Norfolk Agricultural High School, who each had one goal.
The Orange & Black will next be in action on Sunday September 27 when they travel to Williamsport, Pa. to face the Wildcats of Penn College in NEAC action with kick-off at 11:00 a.m.
