Chicopee, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team suffered three defeats at the 2015 Blazer Invitational hosted by Elms College over the weekend. The Fighting Tigers opened the event on Friday evening by dropping three matches to the Gators of Sage College 3-0 by set scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-19. On Saturday, Cobleskill fell 3-1 to the host Blazers of Elms College by scores of 20-25, 26-24, 25-12 and 25-23 then closed the event by falling to the Owls of Westfield State College 3-1 by scores of  23-25, 25-14, 25-23 and 25-16. With the losses Cobleskill falls to 1-3 overall on the season.

Freshman middle hitter Emilie Reimer, Mattituck, N.Y., Mattituck High School, was the bright spot of the tournament for the Orange & Black earning All-Tournament Team honors after averaging:1.6 kills, 1.7 digs and 0.6 total blocks be set in 11 sets played.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday September 9 when they travel to Utica, N.Y. to meet the Pioneers of Utica College in non-league action beginning at 7:00 p.m.
