Bryn Athyn, Pa.: The road continued to be a rough one for the SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team as on Sunday afternoon the Fighting Tigers dropped a 4-2 decision to the host Lions of Bryn Athyn College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the loss Cobleskill falls to 2-9 overall on the campaign with a 0-8 record in league action while the Lions even their overall record at 5-5 on the season including a 4-4 record in NEAC play.
The Fighting Tigers received unassisted scoring efforts from freshman forward
Kelsey Martin, Scotia, N.Y., Scotia-Glenville High School, and junior
Morganne Dick, Johnstown, N.Y., Johnstown High School, in the contest.
However three first half Bryn Athyn goals proved to be too much for the visitors as the home team controlled the action holding a 14-to-7 advantage in shots and a 5-to-1 advantage in corner kicks in their victory. Â
Cobleskill will return to action on Thursday October 13
th when they travel Hampshire College in Amherst, Mass. in non-conference action beginning at 4:00 p.m.
